New list of CUIC membracid holdings

November 12th, 2012

The Cornell University Insect Collection is fortunate to house Tom Wood's collection of treehoppers (Membracidae) and when combined with our main collection we have a significant collection of New World species.  Recent curatorial work by Matthew Wallace and Mark Rothschild, and especially Brendan Morris and Brett Morgan have illuminated how valuable our collection is.  It comprises of 68 drawers and 497 species.  The full list can be found here: http://cuic.entomology.cornell.edu/files/all/cuic_membracidae.pdf
